We are not doing Julette on October 31st, as leaders we are too swamped with other things. You and your family are still welcome to go down and participate! I hear it is a lot of fun..
Again the girls are NOT needed at the girl scout birthday party on this next Sunday. We had planned on doing a bean bag toss as a troop, but we are not going to be able to that this year.

I will be bringing their journals to the next meeting, in the meantime, please have them keep their journal ling on some sheets of paper and we will glue them to their permanent journals later. HAVE FUN..Dad's a great way to work with your daughters is Car Care:)

New incentive for girls

Parents
Yesterday at our meeting I challenged the girls to memorize both the law and the promise. When they have one or both of them memorized they are to come to me and recite them. I will keep track of who passes of what, after your child has passed off both, she will recieve a large candy bar. YUMMY!!
They are not required to do this, however, we would love to see them all achieve this!

THE GIRL SCOUT LAW!

I will do my best to be:
honest and fair
Friendly and helpful,
considerate and caring,
courageous and strong, and
responsible for what
I say and do,
And to
respect myself and others,
respect authority,
use resources wisely,
make the world a better place, and
be a sister to every
Girl Scout.

THE GIRL SCOUT PROMISE!

On my honor, I will try: to serve God and my country, To help people at all times, And to live by the Girl Scout Law.
