Everyone
This month we are taking the girls on a field trip to Xenia. They will be getting a tour of the SISCA building, along with seeing how the shelter is run. This tour takes 2 hours. I believe Tracy is asking every girl to bring 3.00 to cover half the cost, if this isn't the case she will let you know. Look for an email from her about drop off and pick up times and places. If a parent needs to come to make their daughter feel more comfortable please do, this will be a lot of fun and we don't want the girls to miss out on it. There will be dogs and cats!

Troop clean up
Parents:
Our troop in charge of clean up at Angels pass for the next 2 weeks. If you have some spare moments and your daughter can go over there and pick up any trash in the area, let me know. I want to make sure that every girl that does this gets their badge. Because it is winter there is very little to do, there maybe nothing. There is a large garbage can next to the parking lot to put garbage in! We have from now until the 14th of November to care for the park.

Field trip

This Wed - November 3rd we are taking the girls to Meyer's for a great field trip. There will be 4 Adults coming with to help make sure that we follow the girl scout driving rules, of 2 adults in each vehicle.
The girls need to have a permission slip to come with us. IF TRACY SENT THIS OUT, I AM SORRY I DIDN'T PAY ATTENTION. If Tracy didn't send this out, please just fill out a piece of paper stating that you give Tracy George and Alyssa Munns permission to transport your daughter to Meyer's and Angels pass. The date needs to be somewhere on the sheet of paper.

EXTRA BADGE WORK FOR OCTOBER:
Below parents are the two (extra) patches your daughter can work on for the month of October. If for some reason you can't read them let me know. YOUR daughter MUST complete 6 of them in order to pass off. I will be bringing their journals to the next meeting, in the meantime, please have them keep their journal ling on some sheets of paper and we will glue them to their permanent journals later. HAVE FUN..Dad's a great way to work with your daughters is Car Care:)

New incentive for girls
Parents
Yesterday at our meeting I challenged the girls to memorize both the law and the promise. When they have one or both of them memorized they are to come to me and recite them. I will keep track of who passes of what, after your child has passed off both, she will recieve a large candy bar. YUMMY!!
They are not required to do this, however, we would love to see them all achieve this!

They are to record all their extra stuff in their Junior Journals ( we will provide these). They are to turn them into Ms. Alyssa once they are complete so that she can keep track of who does what.
* My Heritage: Your heritage is made up of many things: your religious or racial group: you nationality; your family traditions and values. Begin learning about your heritage here.
* Car care: You don't have to know how to drive to learn about cars. With an adult partner, find out what makes a car run and how to keep it in good condition.
YOUR SCOUT NEEDS TO CHOOSE WHAT SHE WOULD LIKE TO DO. HAVE HER COMPLETE 6 OF THE POWER POINTS AND THEN HAVE HER TURN IN HER WORK. I WILL EMAIL EVERYONE THE PACKETS FOR EACH PROJECT.
